I took quite a lot of time searching before I bought my latest car. I wanted to be certain I was buying the best value car for me and with the most specifications. In the end I decided on the Volkswagen Polo 3dr hatchback with the following specifications:

I do not want to make an error when getting insurance so I am doing a lot of research, as I normally do before making very important purchases, before I go ahead and purchase my car insurance.

I understand that buying the cheapest insurance quote is possibly not the best way to go when buying car insurance. Cheapest does not have to mean the best value for money. It often depends on what is covered by the insurance. I accept that is the case but my current financial situation does not permit me to spend much money on insurance. I hope I will not end up regretting my decision to go for the cheapest quote but I really do not see that I have a lot of choice. In fact, I only bought a car was because I need it for my work, otherwise I would have gotten by catching the bus until my money situation improved.

This way I can get an instant response or do a comparison of a number of quotes. I am also looking into getting a home/car insurance combination as this can prove to be cheaper in the long run.
As of today, I have discovered a number of similarly priced quotes for my Volkswagen Polo 3dr hatchback but not all cover the same type of repairs or for the same of payout. This is making the comparison of quotes a little bit more difficult than I expected but I believe in the end of my search I will get cheap insurance which is also good value for money and with a good insurance company.
