I spent quite a lot of time searching before I bought my latest car. I wanted to know I was purchasing the right car for me and with the most specifications. In the end I decided on the Volkswagen Passat 5dr estate with these particulars:

I do not want to make an error when getting insurance so I am doing a lot of research, as I often do before making very important purchases, before I go ahead and get my motor insurance.

I get that buying the cheapest insurance quote is not necessarily the most intelligent way to go when buying car insurance. Cheapest does not always mean the best value for money. It often depends on what is covered by the insurance. I accept that is the case but my current cash situation does not permit me to spend a lot of money on insurance. In fact, the reason I bought a car was because I need a car for my work, otherwise I would have gotten by catching public transport until my cash flow gained strength.

This way I can get an instant response or do a comparison of different quotes. I am also thinking about getting a home/car insurance combination as this can work out being a cheap way to go.
So far, I have discovered a number of similarly priced quotes for my Volkswagen Passat 5dr estate but not all cover the same damage or for the same amount. This is making the comparison of quotes a little difficult but I think in the end I will get cheap insurance which is also excellent value for money and with a reputable insurance company.
