I accept that getting the cheapest insurance quote is perhaps not the most intelligent way to go when choosing car insurance. Cheapest does not have to mean the best value for money. It really depends on what is covered by the insurance. I understand that is the case but my current cash situation does not permit me to spend a lot of money on insurance. This way I can get an instant response or do a comparison of different quotes. I am also considering getting a home/car insurance package as this can prove to be cheaper in the long run.
