I spent quite a lot of time searching before I bought my second hand car. I wanted to be sure I was getting the best value car for me and with the right items. After looking at various models I decided on the Vauxhall Meriva 5dr mpv with the following specifications:

I accept that getting the cheapest insurance quote is possibly not the best way to go when buying car insurance. Cheapest does not always mean the best value for money. It often depends on what is covered by the insurance. I understand that is the case but my current money situation does not let me to spend too much money on insurance. This way I can get an instant response or do a comparison of a number of quotes. I am also thinking about getting a home/car insurance combination as this can prove to be cheaper in the long run.
So far, I have narrowed it down to a number of similarly priced quotes for my Vauxhall Meriva 5dr mpv but not all cover the same things or for the same of payout. This is making the comparison of quotes a little bit difficult but I am sure in the end I will get cheap insurance which is also excellent value for money and with a well known insurance company.
