I allocated quite a lot of time searching before I purchased my second hand vehicle. I wanted to be sure I was buying the right car for me and with the right specifications. In the end I decided on the Vauxhall Astra 5dr hatchback including these specifications:

I do not want to make the wrong decision when buying insurance so I am doing a lot of research, as I always do before making big purchases, before I go ahead and purchase my car insurance.

I accept that choosing the cheapest insurance quote is not necessarily the wisest way to go when buying car insurance. Cheapest does not have to mean the best value for money. It really depends on what is covered by the insurance. I understand that is the case but my current money situation does not let me to spend a lot of money on insurance. I hope I will not want to go back on my decision to go for the cheapest quote but I really do not think I have a lot of choice. In fact, the only reason I bought a car was because I need it for my job, otherwise I would have survived catching the bus until my cash flow improved.
So anyway as for my search for auto car insurance quotes. I am looking for cheap car insurance quotes online, rather than spending time calling insurance brokers. This way I can get an instant response or do a comparison of various quotes. I am also thinking about getting a home/car insurance package as this can prove to be a bargain.
As of today, I have narrowed it down to a number of similarly priced quotes for my Vauxhall Astra 5dr hatchback but not all cover the same type of repairs or for the same of money. This is making the comparison of quotes a little bit more difficult than I expected but I believe in the long run I will get cheap insurance which is also great value for money and with a well known insurance company.
