I took a lot of time searching before I purchased my new vehicle. I wanted to be certain I was getting the best value car for me and with the best specifications. In the end I decided on the Skoda Octavia 5dr hatchback with the following particulars:

Points such as finance has been sorted out but I am still trying to find the cheapest car insurance quote. I do not want to make a mistake when buying insurance so I am doing a lot of searching, as I normally do before making important purchases, before I go ahead and get my motor insurance.
I understand that choosing the cheapest insurance quote is possibly not the best way to go when purchasing car insurance. Cheapest does not always mean the best value for money. It usually depends on what is covered by the insurance. I accept that is the case but my current financial situation does not permit me to spend much money on insurance. I hope I will not end up regretting my decision to go for the cheapest quote but I really do not think I have a lot of choice. Actually, the reason I bought a car was because I need it for my occupation, otherwise I would have managed catching public transport until my financial situation improved.

This way I can get an instant response or do a comparison of different quotes. I am also considering getting a home/car insurance combination as this can prove to be a bargain.
So far, I have discovered a number of similarly priced quotes for my Skoda Octavia 5dr hatchback but not all cover the same things or for the same of payout. This is making the comparison of quotes a little difficult but I am sure in the end I will get cheap insurance which is also excellent value for money and with a reputable insurance company.
