I took a fair amount of time searching before I purchased my second hand set of wheels. I wanted to be certain I was purchasing the right car for me and with the most items. In the end I decided on the BMW Z4 2dr coupe with these particulars:

I do not want to make a mistake when getting insurance so I am doing a lot of searching, as I normally do before making very important purchases, before I go ahead and get my insurance.

I accept that getting the cheapest insurance quote is not necessarily the best way to go when choosing car insurance. Cheapest does not have to mean the best value for money. It often depends on what is covered by the insurance. I know that is the case but my current cash situation does not permit me to spend a lot of money on insurance. I hope I will not regret my decision to go for the cheapest quote but I really do not think I have a lot of choice. As it happens, the only reason I bought a car was because I need it for my work, otherwise I would have managed catching public transport until my money situation improved.

This way I can get an instant response or do a comparison of a number of quotes. I am also looking into getting a home/car insurance combination as this can end up being a bargain.
As of today, I have discovered a number of similarly priced quotes for my BMW Z4 2dr coupe but not all cover the same type of repairs or for the same of money. This is making the comparison of quotes a little difficult but I am sure in the end I will get cheap insurance which is also great value for money and with a well known insurance company.
